The U13 Rep Team wins Silver at the OMHA Championships
What and amazing year for the U13 Peewee reps!

Although we didn't end up with the Red Hats we had se as our goal in November, the achievements and memories we made together this season will be with us forever.

Our success began with five straight wins to dominate our division and won gold at the 65th Annual Mitchell Tournament, beating our rivals from Drayton 7-0 in the finals!

With the Forest International Silverstick being postponed indefinitely we were praying Kincardine could make something work for Regionals. Thankfully Derrick Burrows and his committee were able to pull it off. With the help of Kaleb Meyer and volunteers parents from our Huron-Bruce U13 and U15 teams running the score board in Ripley our prayers became a reality. Winning in the finals in an overtime battle with Wingham.

Our path to WOAA finals would not be easy either. Being a strong 3rd period team helped with the game against BCH, and hanover. Loosing game 1 to Walkerton in the semi-finals series was an eye opener to say the least. Once the boys were reminded "loose as a team, win as a team" there was no looking back! We dominated Walkerton the next 2 games to take the series win. With that momentum, we pushed straight through Drayton in 2 games to win the Tier 2 Gregg Division Trophy.

Our 3 wins in the OMHA tournament finals against Twin Centres, Otanobee and the semi-finals match verses East Lambton were epic. However the losses to South Huron in the Round Robin and ultimately the finals was a tough pill to swallow. The goalie had our number both games.

On behalf of the coaching staff I would like to say again, how proud we are of this group of young, and talented OMHA Silver Medalist!
